New Delhi: As the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite launch date inches closer, the company has now revealed the smartphone’s camera details. The handset maker has been teasing select information about the Nord CE 2 Lite and now, it has revealed that the device will feature a 64MP triple rear camera setup, on a dedicated microsite. Further details about the camera setup are not known yet, but it is likely that OnePlus reveals more in the coming days before the Nord CE 2 Lite officially launches in India on April 28. In terms of the front camera, there will be a hole punch on the screen to house the single selfie sensor.
We all know that OnePlus is slated to launch the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite in the country next week. Earlier this week, the handset maker leaked the design of the latter in an official image. OnePlus, in a tweet, had revealed the design of the Nord CE 2 Lite. The teased image showed the Nord CE 2 Lite in blue colour.
As teased by OnePlus, the device will sport a triple rear camera setup along with a flash and the design of the smartphone will not see a big shift from the previous OnePlus Nord CE 2, albeit for minor changes. Further, the company has also revealed that the Nord CE 2 Lite will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W SuperVooc charging. In another tweet, OnePlus said: “A little more than you’d expect.”
The 33W SUPERVOOC rapid-charging claims to charge the battery from 0 to 50 per cent in 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 10R that the company is launching alongside, is likely to be a rebadged Realme GT Neo 3 that may also be unveiled in India soon.
The company is calling the OnePlus 10R 5G its “next flagship” smartphone under the OnePlus R series that was launched last year to offer the brand’s fast and smooth experience at a more accessible price point. The OnePlus 10R 5G will introduce 150W SUPERVOOC charging technology, also, the fastest charging solution ever on a OnePlus phone. It claims to charge the OnePlus 10R’s battery from 1 to 100 per cent in 17 minutes. However, the base variant of OnePlus 10R will support 80W SUPERVOOC charging only.
The OnePlus 10R will not feature the company’s famous alert slider and there will not be a standard 3.5mm audio jack too. The device is likely to run Android 12-based OxygenOS along with an in-display fingerprint sensor. OnePlus has also announced that it will unveil its OnePlus Nord Buds at the “More Power To You” event along with the OnePlus 10R 5G and the budget OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G on the same date. The launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds will mark the Nord lineup’s entry into the audio category in the Truly Wireless (TWS) segment.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship smartphone with 8 Gen 1 SoC is set to be launched in India on April 27. The device sports a top-tier design and will compete with flagship devices like the Galaxy S22 line, the OnePlus 10 Pro, and the Apple iPhone 13 among others.
