Shikhar Dhawan creates history, becomes second batsman to achieve this feat in IPL

Shikhar Dhawan Complete 6000 Runs In IPL: Shikhar Dhawan created history in the 38th match of IPL 2022 being played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Shikhar Dhawan became the second batsman to score 6000 runs in IPL as soon as he scored two runs in this match. This match is very special for Dhawan, because this is Dhawan’s 200th match of IPL career.

Shikhar Dhawan, playing the 200th match of his IPL career against Chennai Super Kings, touched the 6000-run mark as soon as he scored 2 runs. Before this match, he had 5998 runs in 199 IPL matches. Dhawan is at number two in the list of batsmen who have scored the most runs in the IPL. He is also the second batsman to score 6000 runs in IPL.

In this match, Chennai Super Kings captain Ravindra Jadeja has won the toss and decided to bowl first. On the other hand, Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal made three changes in his playing XI for this match. Bhanuka Rajapakse, Rishi Dhawan and Sandeep Sharma got a chance today.
