Many VHP workers have reached outside this mosque in Karnataka and are creating a ruckus. All these people are demanding to worship in the old mosque. In view of this uproar by VHP, Section 144 has been imposed in the entire area, a large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot. No gathering is allowed within a radius of 500 meters.

How did the controversy start?
Actually this whole matter came to the fore on May 21, when the renovation work of this old mosque was going on. During this it was claimed that there is a temple-like structure inside the mosque. After which the Vishwa Hindu Parishad raised this whole issue and the ruckus started. Now like Gyanvapi, there is a ruckus on this issue. VHP claims that this mosque has been built by demolishing the temple. VHP says that they can also go to court to prove this. Apart from this, the Hindu organization has demanded a survey in the mosque.

Politics has also started regarding this matter. Apart from VHP, now BJP has also made a big demand regarding this mosque. BJP has demanded a survey of the mosque. At present, the security of the mosque has been increased and no one has been allowed to go here. Some VHP workers who were creating a ruckus have also been detained by the police.
