Apple WWDC 2022: Apple has shared the schedule of its annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, popularly known as WWDC which is slated to begin at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California on June 6. The annual event begins on June 6 when there is the keynote session and lasts through June 10 for developers and other members. Free for all developers, the WWDC helps developers and designers explore the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks coming to Apple’s iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS.
It should be noted that this will be the first time since the coronavirus pandemic began that the WWDC conference will have some on-campus attendance of developers and Apple has tightened the Covid-19 prevention rules for developers that need to be followed. The keynote address will be held online and can be streamed live on the company’s website, Apple’s Developer app, Apple TV as well as YouTube.
Apple WWDC 2022 schedule is as follows:
Apple’s Keynote begins on June 6 at 10 am PDT or 10:30 pm IST. The WWDC22 will launch with first look at the updates coming to Apple platforms later this year. The keynote address will be available via apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app and YouTube, with on-demand playback available after the conclusion of the stream.
Platforms State of the Union
Platforms State of the Union will begin on June 6 at 1 pm PDT where developers will learn how they can take their apps to the next level with a dive into the new tools, technologies, and advances across Apple platforms. Platforms State of the Union will stream via the Apple Develper app and the Apple Developer website.
Apple Design Awards
This will start on June 6 at 5 pm PDT where Apple, like every year, will recognise and celebrate the art, craft, creativity, and technical expertise that its developers bring to their work through the Apple Design Awards. The Apple Design Awards will stream via the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
Access to Experts
Featuring over 150 in-depth session videos, the WWDC22 will bring together the latest tools and technologies to give developers the chance to learn how they can create the next generation of apps. Apple Developer Program members, Apple Developer Enterprise Program members, and 2022 Swift Student Challenge award recipients can request one-on-one lab appointments with experts for guidance on implementing the latest technologies.
Starting June 7, session videos will be posted daily on the Apple Developer app and the Apple Developer website.
