Congress Working Committee brainstorming today before Chintan Shivir, leaders will gather for the future plan of the party

CWC Meeting: A meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) will be held today before the Chintan Shivir to be held in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The meeting of CWC will be held today i.e. on Monday at 4.30 pm at the party headquarters. In this meeting, along with the agenda of the Chintan Shivir, the future strategy of the party will also be discussed.

The Congress had last month announced that a three-day ‘Chintan Shivir’ would be organized in Udaipur from May 13-15 in which party leaders from across the country would discuss internal issues and suggest solutions to strengthen the organisation. Around 400 top party leaders are expected to attend this camp. Apart from the leaders included in the Congress Working Committee (CWC), senior leaders including members of parliament, state in-charge, general secretary and state presidents will participate in the Chintan Shivir.

Congress General Secretary, Organisation, KC Venugopal said in a tweet that the Congress Working Committee meeting will be held on Monday, 9th May 2022 at 4.30 PM at Congress Office, 24 Akbar Road, New Delhi, from 13 to 15 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The ‘Nav Sankalp Shivir- 2022’ to be held till May 2022 will be discussed. Senior Congress leaders KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken and Ashok Gehlot took stock of the preparations for the Chintan Shivir on Wednesday.

Earlier, days after considering the suggestions of election strategist Prashant Kishor, the Congress had announced the formation of a ‘Privileged Working Group- 2024′ to strengthen the party for the next Lok Sabha elections and tackle future challenges. Will be done. Kishor later turned down the Congress’ offer to join the party and formulate the party’s election strategy. The Congress has started preparations for assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh later this year, besides other state elections in 2023 and Lok Sabha elections in 2024.
