On Azam Khan bail plea, the Supreme Court said – if the High Court does not decide, we will intervene

Azam Khan Bail Plea: The Supreme Court has made a strong comment on the Allahabad High Court regarding a case of Samajwadi Party leader and Rampur MLA Azam Khan. The Supreme Court has said that out of 87 cases, Azam Khan has got bail in 86 cases, why is it taking so long for just one case. The court said that why the decision could not be taken even after 137 days. The court also said that if the Allahabad High Court does not give a verdict in this matter, then we will interfere in it. The court will next hear the matter on May 11.

Azam Khan is currently lodged in Sitapur Jail. The Supreme Court reprimanded the Allahabad High Court. A bench of Justice L Nageswara Rao and Justice BR Gavai said that this is a mockery of justice.
