Lawrence Bishnoi Delhi to Punjab: Punjab Police will now interrogate gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, accused of Sidhu Moosewala murder case. For this, the police has got a one-day transit remand from the Delhi Court. After this, he will be presented before the judge in Mansa court tomorrow. The Punjab Police has made very strict arrangements to take Bishnoi from Delhi to Punjab. For this, the police will have 50 police personnel, 2 bullet proof vehicles, 12 other vehicles to keep the way clear and videography of the route leading to Bishnoi will be done. Punjab Police has said this in the court.
In fact, Advocate Chopra, lawyer of Lawrence Bishnoi, had referred to the stay of the Supreme Court which has been imposed on taking Bishnoi to Punjab. On this, the Punjab Police’s lawyer argued in the court that if the custody of Lawrence Bishnoi is given to the Punjab Police, then the Punjab Police will take full responsibility for the security.
Arrangement of Punjab Police for security
Giving his argument on security, the counsel for Punjab Police told the court that there will be about 50 police personnel of Punjab Police, two bullet proof vehicles, 12 vehicles will run on the way which will clear the route. All routes will be videographed. Punjab Police’s lawyer told the court that the entire order of the Supreme Court will be followed. After this, the Delhi court has allowed the Punjab Police to formally arrest gangster Lawrenc Bishnoi. Now the custody of Lawrence Bishnoi lodged in Tihar Jail will be handed over to the Punjab Police.
Delhi court allowed Lawrence Bishnoi to be arrested
On Tuesday, a Delhi court was informed by the Punjab Police that Lawrence Bishnoi singer Sidhu Musewala (Sidhu Moose Wala) is a key conspirator in the murder. Demanding the gangster’s transit remand, it was said that his custodial interrogation is necessary. Special security arrangements have been made to bring Lawrence to Punjab. The Punjab Police on Tuesday sought transit remand to produce Bishnoi in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Mansa as per law. The court accepted this demand of the Punjab Police and ordered that the Punjab Police can formally arrest Lawrence.
