Nothing Phone 1 To Arrive With 45W Fast Charging? Everything You Should Know

Carl Pei-led consumer technology brand Nothing is set to unveil its first smartphone, the Nothing Phone 1 at an event on July 12 and new details about the company’s smartphone have emerged ahead of the slated launch next month. It should be noted that Nothing has managed to keep leaks pertaining to Nothing Phone 1 to a minimum, but now a new TUV listing has surfaced and it suggests that the Nothing Phone 1 could arrive with a 45W fast charging support.

This will be London-based consumer tech brand Nothing’s second product launch after its TWS earbuds launch last year. The consumer tech company had earlier confirmed that the smartphone will come with wireless charging. According to rumours, the Nothing Phone 1 is likely to come with a 4500mAh battery even though there is no official word on the phone’s battery pack.

Meanwhile, the company has teased some aspects of the upcoming smartphone. Earlier in March, the company had also teased details of the proprietary Nothing OS launcher, which will run on top of Android 11 and the launcher’s beta version was released in May. Pei’s Nothing’s first smartphone will be available on its first sale via e-commerce site Flipkart, the company had previously announced. According to Nothing, its first model will debut exclusively on O2 in the UK. The first handset from Nothing will be unveiled during the summer of 2022, the company had earlier announced.

According to a previous leak, the Nothing Phone 1 may be launched as a mid-range smartphone and not a flagship device, as many had been anticipating. The Nothing Phone 1 is likely to come with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display and HDR10+ support. The device could be powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of memory, but it is not clear if the storage would be expandable.
