Singer KK Death: 53-year-old Delhi-born famous Bollywood playback singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away in Kolkata on Tuesday evening. At around 7 pm, KK was performing at the festival of Gurudas College at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata. During this suddenly his health deteriorated. After this he was immediately brought to CMRI Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. According to reports, KK has passed away due to heart attack, but no official statement has come yet.

It is also being told that KK had come to Kolkata for a two-day concert. He also had a concert on Monday. He did that program at Vivekananda College in Kolkata, but the accident happened after the concert on the second day.

The full name of KK is Krishna Kumar Kunnath. He has sung more than 200 songs in Hindi. He also sang songs in films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. There is a wave of mourning in Bollywood due to the death of Krishnakumar Kunnath. Many celebrities have expressed their condolences.

Beginning with the song of the film ‘Maachis’

Krishnakumar kunnath wanted to become a doctor in his childhood. Krishnakumar Kunnath studied at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. After graduating in commerce, Krishnakumar Kunnath took up a job in a hotel. Krishnakumar Kunnath left the hotel job after eight months. After that he moved to Mumbai. Krishnakumar Kunnath got a break from a UTV commercial in 1994 and then the journey of becoming a famous singer KK started. KK got a chance to sing the song ‘Chhod Aaye Hum’ from the film Maachis and after that there was no looking back.

In the year 2000, Krishnakumar Kunnath received the Guild Film Award for Best Playback Singer for the song ‘Tadap-Tadap’ from the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. In 2008 also won the Best Playback Singer award for ‘Aankhon Mein Teri’ from Om Shanti Om and in 2009 for ‘Khuda Jaane’ from Bachna-e Haseeno.
