Earlier this week, he was produced before the Sitapur Magistrate in connection with the FIR lodged by the UP Police. On June 10, 2022, a division bench of the Allahabad High Court refused to quash the UP Police’s FIR, saying it was too early to intervene when the investigation was at a preliminary stage.
