Independence Day: President Draupadi Murmu will address the nation on Sunday on the eve of Independence Day. This will be his first address to the nation as President. Rashtrapati Bhavan gave this information in a statement. The President’s address will be telecast on all national networks of All India Radio and on all Doordarshan channels from 7 pm onwards, the statement said.
It was also told that the President’s address will be broadcast first in Hindi and then in English. The statement further said, “After the telecast of the address in Hindi and English on Doordarshan, it will be telecasted by its regional channels in the respective regional languages. All India Radio will telecast it in the regional language on its respective regional network at 9.30 pm.
