Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) also raised the price of CNG by Rs 6 per kg on Monday in Mumbai and its surrounding areas. The state-run company cited the 40 per cent increase in input prices by the government from October 1 for the steep increase in the retail prices along with the global supply cut.
